I’ve known I wanted to be a nurse since I was 5 years old. My passion for caring for others and making them feel better was strong, but I faced doubts as I grew older. Struggling with math in high school led me to believe I needed to be perfect in it to pursue nursing. This negative mindset made me abandon my nursing dream. I pursued teaching and even cosmetology briefly. But eventually, I realized nurses also educate and uplift patients, which aligned with my passions.

My journey began as an optician and progressed to working as a medical secretary in a larger healthcare facility. This allowed me to interact with patients, nurses, and doctors daily, giving me a taste of the medical world. This experience was valuable for my application and solidified my interest in nursing.
