Grammar Section:
This segment of the test assesses your grasp of fundamental grammar concepts. It covers parts of speech, common grammar mistakes, and key grammatical principles. The grammar test comprises 50 questions, and you’re given a total of 50 minutes to tackle them. If English isn’t your first language or if you find grammar challenging, don’t be discouraged. Remember, nursing schools have diverse students coming from various linguistic backgrounds. In this 50-minute section, you’ll need to answer 25 questions. Keep in mind that the physics test is generally a requirement for Nursing programs that have Physics as a prerequisite.
Biology Section:
For many, the biology questions turn out to be an enjoyable part of the exam. They encompass a wide range of general biology topics, including cellular processes, biological molecules, and cellular structure. This section consists of 25 questions.
Anatomy & Physiology Section:
Understanding fundamental concepts related to anatomy and physiology is crucial for success in the healthcare field. This segment tests your familiarity with anatomical systems, terminologies, and structures. Like the biology section, you’ll encounter 25 questions here.
Chemistry Section:

With the knowledge of these distinct sections, I recommend taking a post-test that covers all of these areas. This post-test can help you identify any gaps in your understanding. I’ve guided students who used this approach and discovered that a focused “Intersession course,” typically spanning around two weeks, was immensely helpful for brushing up on foundational knowledge. Many universities offer these specialized courses to cater to such needs.
